Adrian Tiu

Adrian Tiu is an artist investigating noise, reconstruction, and the dialectics of nostalgia through forms of sculpture and drawing. Through an appropriation of new media in conjunction with analog, labor-focused methods of printmaking and sculpture, he attempts to reconcile with romanticism in order to reveal its proximity to irony. In these pursuits, Adrian simultaneously grapples with the performance of brand, the portraiture of sincerity, and the commercialization of identity in hopes to critique default systems of craft.
